Modeling and Simulation of Concurrent Voltage Regulation Microgrid using FOPID Controller
Implementation Plan:
Step 1: Initially, we constructed the isolated microgrid model in Simulink including a small hydro plant, solar PV, DFIG, and energy storage systems.
Step 2: Next, we integrate FOPID controller with AGC control loop for voltage and frequency regulation
Step 3: Then, we simulate the model and collect simulated data like current,voltage,power, load demand variations and wind power.
Step 4: Then, we apply the Hippopotamus Optimization Algorithm (HOA) to analyze minimizing error indices .
Step 5: Next, we analyze random load demand, and renewable energy variations based on collected data.
Step 6: Finally, we plot performance metrics for the following
6.1: Time vs Voltage (V)
6.2: Time vs Power (kW)
6.3: Time vs Current (A)
6.4: Time vs SOC (%)
6.5: Time vs Frequency Deviation (Δf)
Software Requirements:
1. Development Tool: MATLAB R2023a/Simulink or above
2. Operating System: Windows-10 (64-bit) or above
