Performance Analysis of Smart HVAC System Simulation for Energy Efficiency and Comfort Optimization

Implementation Plan:

Step 1: Initially, we constructed the Smart HVAC Simulink model

Step 2: Then, we integrated sensor inputs including temperature, humidity, CO₂, occupancy, and air flow .

Step 3: Next, we implemented intelligent control logic using PID/Fuzzy controller to maintain comfort levels .

Step 4: Next, we simulate and collect optimized temperature, humidity , CO₂, occupancy, and air flow

Step 5: Next, we analyzed the results to detect temperature profiles, energy use trends, comfort index (PMV), and calculate energy consumption (kWh) . based on collected data.

Step 6: Finally, we plot performance metrics for the following

6.1: Time Vs Temperature (°C)
6.2: Time Vs Humidity (%)
6.3: Time Vs Energy Consumption (kWh)
6.4: Time Vs Comfort Index (PMV)

Software Requirements:

1. Development Tool: Matlab-R2023a/Simulink or above
2. Operating System: Windows-10 (64-bit) or above
