Performance Analysis of IRS Assisted UAV Networks Based on Statistical Channels

Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we will create an environment with 50 Users,3 UAV, 3 IRS and 3 base stations.

Step 2: Then, we collect statistical channel state information (CSI) data from the IRS .

Step 3: Next, we maximize energy efficiency based on UAV trajectory, transmit power, and IRS phase shifts.

Step 4: Next, we Optimize the UAV trajectories using Successive Convex Approximation (SCA) with Dinkelbach’s algorithm.

Step 5: Next, we Optimize the IRS phase-shifts using derive a closed-form solution with equivalent transformations

Step 6: Finally, we plot performance metrics for the following

6.1: Number of UAV vs. Energy Efficiency (bits/Joule)

6.2: Number of UAV vs. Transmission Rate (Mbps)

6.3: Number of UAV vs. Latency (ms)

6.4: Number of UAV vs. Network Coverage Area(%)
