Modeling and Simulink of Microgrid Simscape
Implementation Plan:

Step 1: Initially, we constructed the microgrid Simulink model with diesel generator, PV, BESS, and loads.
Step 2: Then, we simulate the model and collect data for Current, Voltage, power, SOC and diesel consumption.
Step 3: Next, we analyze operational behavior and controller performance based on collected data for remote microgrids.
Step 4: Next, we evaluate economic indices such as life cycle cost, payback period, and internal rate of return using collected data.
Step 5: Next, we perform techno-economic optimization to identify optimal renewable–diesel mix and BESS operation based on collected data.
Step 6: Finally, we plot and compare performance metrics for the following:
6.1: Time vs. Renewable Power Usage (kW)
6.2: Time vs. Diesel Consumption (L/h)
6.3: Time vs. Current (A)
6.4: Time Vs. Voltage (V)
Software Requirements:
