Modeling and Simulink of IEC 61850 Based Power Distribution Substation
Implementation Plan:

Step 1: Initially, we designed a AC coupled micro grid model using Simulink.
Step 2: Then, we configure IEC 61850 for switchgear and merging unit functions .
Step 3: Then, we simulate and collect voltage, current, breaker operations with measurement and relay blocks.
Step 4: Next, we Implement bay-level protection and control IEDs using CSWI, MMXU, and CILO LNs with GOOSE/SV messages.
Step 5: Then, we implement station-level controllers and certificate authorities using MMS over TLS protocols.
Step 6: Next, we validate cybersecurity vulnerabilities by based on controllers data.
Step 7: Finally, we plot performance metrics for the following
7.1: Time vs. Voltage (V)
7.2: Time vs. Current (A)
7.3: Time vs. Breaker Status (Open/Close)
7.4: Time vs. GOOSE Message Delay (ms)
