Modeling and Simulink of Electric Vehicle Performance for 17 km in 2340 Seconds Modeling Control

Implementation Plan:
———————————
Step 1: Initially, we Open your Simulink model “PMSM_FOC_EV.slx.”

Step 2: Next we set the simulation time to cover the desired duration of 2340 seconds. Use a speed profile input that starts from 10 km/hr, we increase to 15, 20, 25, and finally 30 km/hr at different time intervals within the simulation.

Step 3: Next we after running the simulation, extract and analyse the relevant signals such as speed, energy consumption, efficiency, and battery state of charges. This will Create plots for Average Speed, Energy Consumption, Efficiency, and Battery State of Charge over time.

Step 4: Next, We Tune the controller parameters, such as proportional-integral-derivative (PID) gains or the parameters specific to your control algorithm, to minimize oscillations.

Step 5: Next, we make adjustments to the control system parameters and rerun the simulation. Continue iterating until we achieve a stable speed response without significant oscillations.

Step 6: Finally, the designed system is evaluated with the following plots,
6.1: Average Speed
6.2: Energy Consumption
6.3: Efficiency
6.4: Battery State of Charge (SOC)

Software Requirements:
———————————–

1. Development Tool: Matlab-R2023a/Simulink
2. OS: Windows-10 (64-bit)
