Modeling and Simulation of Vehicle Level Suspension Validation
Tools:
Software — > MATLAB R2024a/ Simulink or above
OS –> Windows-10 (64-bit) or above
Project workflow:
Ø Initially, we will generate the shock absorber dataset and organize it according to the prescribed test conditions, dynamic variables, and excitation cases.
Ø Next, we will preprocess the raw measurement signals by removing noise, correcting sensor bias and offsets, and synchronising the displacement and force signals to ensure phase consistency.
Ø Then, We will calculate the shock absorber modelling variables from the processed data, such as velocity, force–velocity response, and force–displacement response.
Ø Next, We will model the damper behaviour from the processed data using the force–velocity characteristics for compression and rebound.
Ø Next, we will construct the full-vehicle suspension system that will be formulated by representing the sprung mass, unsprung masses, suspension elements based on developed damper characteristics and model parameters data.
Ø Next, we will evaluate the suspension response by using body displacement, wheel displacement, suspension travel, body acceleration, and damper force.
Ø Finally, we will analyse the suspension performance based damper model data under excitation conditions.
Ø Finally, we will analyze and plot the following results:
1 : Time vs Body Displacement
2 : Time vs Body Acceleration
3 : Time vs Wheel Displacement
4 : Time vs Suspension Travel
5 : Time vs Damper Force

1) If the proposed plan does not fully align with your requirements, please provide all necessary details—including steps, parameters, models, and expected outcomes—in advance.
2) Kindly ensure that any missing configurations or specifications are clearly outlined in the plan before confirming.
3) If there’s no built-in solution for what the project needs, we can always turn to reference models, customize our own, different math models or write the code ourselves to fulfil the process.
4) If the plan satisfies your requirement, Please confirm with us.
5) Project based on Simulation only.
