Modeling and Simulation of Smart Buildings With Distributed Energy Generation

Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we construct the Simulink model with Wind Turbines and solar Photo-Voltaic (PV) energy storage system in IEEE-33 bus system .

step 2: Then we implement PSO and collect solar irradiance and wind speed data .

Step 3: Next, we supply the energy stored in the system into pv using long short-term memory method(DWT-LSTM)

step 4: Next, we Train LSTM module data and forecast with least RMSE error.

Step 5:Next, we implement energy management algorithm to calculate energy stored in a BESS (battery energy storage system)

Step 6: Next, we implement the Z-bus Fault diagnosis method to detect faults in IEEE33 bus systems and reduce it using K-Means clustering Algorithm.

Step 7:Next, we implement the “Micro grid Load Balancing” method to set critical loads with the best LSR values.

Step 8:Finally, we plot performance for the following metrics:

8.1: Time (s) vs. Current (A)
8.2: Time (s) vs. Voltage (V)
8.3: Time (s) vs. State of Charge (%)
8.4: Time (s) Vs. Storage Efficiency(%)

Software Requirements:

1. Development Tool: Matlab-R2023a/Simulink
2. Operating System: Windows-11 (64-bit)
