Performance Analysis of Resilient Control Strategy for CBTC Systems Through Train to Train Communication

Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we constructed a CBTC environment with 1 leader train, 7 follower trains,2 gateway, 1 control center with LTE-M based train-to-train communication links.

Step 2: Next, we implement a bidirectional train communication topology with a three-time exchange protocol for robust message delivery.

Step 3: Next, we simulate multi-channel DoS attacks that disrupt communication to evaluate the system’s resilience.

Step 4: Next, we apply a distributed observer-based intrusion detection system to estimate and detect communication failures.

Step 5: Next, we implement a distributed resilient control strategy using observer-based leader state estimation to maintain safe train spacing.

Step 6: Next, we implement a hybrid control algorithm combining PD control and DMPC to switch modes based on spacing.

Step 7: Finally, we plot performance metrics for the following
