Modeling and Simulink of Multiphase Induction Motor Drive for Energy and EV Applications 9 Phase Inverter and Motor
Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we will construct a Simulink model with a 9-phase Induction motor with 9-phase Inverter.
Step 2: Next, we implement Fault diagnosis to isolate short circuit conditions using space vector modulation (SVM).
Step 3: Next, we implement a redundancy control strategy of the system using the d-q axis control system.
Step 4: Next, we handle phase reduction dynamically, ensuring torque and speed control using Field-Oriented Control (FOC) or Direct Torque Control (DTC) algorithm
Step 5: Finally, we plot the following performance metrics,
5.1: Time (s) vs. Current (A)
5.2: Time (s) vs. Voltage (V)
5.3: Time (s) vs. State of Charge (%)
5.4: Time (s) vs. Fault diagnosis (%)
