Title:- Securing Onboard Charging Architectures of Electric Vehicles Against Cyber Threats

Implementation Plan:

Step 1: Initially, we will construct the EV based onboarding charging system Simulink model with AC Grid, AC-DC converter, DC-DC converter, EV li-ion Battery and Control Unit.

Step 2: Then, we will integrate the CAN Bus Protocol subsystem into the Simulink model.

Step 3: Next, we inject the modification attacks by altering the control signals, CAN Bus based attacks and sudden loss of Input.

Step 4: Next, we will simulate and collect the simulated data such as voltage, current, power and SOC.

Step 5: Next, we will analyze and detect the normal electric signals and abnormal signals based on the collected data.

Step 6: Next, we will mitigate the abnormal electrical signals by using a short circuit protection and battery BMS safeguarding technique.

Step 7: Finally, we evaluate system performance using economic metrics, including:

7.1: Time Vs. Voltage (V)

7.2: Time Vs. Current (A)

7.3: Time Vs. State of Charge (%)

7.4: Time Vs. Power (kW)

Software Requirements:
